Expert Payroll Services: A Key Role in Our Finance Team

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our finance team. As a Payroll Officer, you will deliver end-to-end payroll services to employees on a weekly/fortnightly basis.

This permanent full-time role involves working 76 hours per fortnight. To be successful, you must have in-depth knowledge and understanding of payroll procedures and related activities.

Key requirements include excellent communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high-quality organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

Practical experience with computerised payroll/hr systems is essential, along with a strong attention to detail. You must be able to handle complex and challenging situations, conflicting information, and problem-solving.

Commitment to maintaining CPS qualification standards from The Association of Payroll Specialists (TAPS) is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver end-to-end payroll services to employees
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of payroll procedures and related activities
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of employees
  • Monitor and address any payroll discrepancies or issues
