Job Title: Cyber Security Governance Risk Compliance Officer

The role of a Cyber Security Governance Risk Compliance Officer plays a vital part in fortifying governance, risk, and compliance practices by providing expert technical security expertise. This position is ideal for skilled security professionals who can balance governance and technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust security frameworks to ensure the organization's safety-critical control centers remain secure.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, threat modeling, audits, and compliance checks to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide expert security architecture guidance and ensure controls are embedded by design to minimize risks.
  • Implement and enhance technical controls (Identity and Access Management, endpoint protection, Security Information and Event Management, vulnerability management) to safeguard the organization's assets.
  • Lead incident analysis and corrective actions to reduce risk and improve resilience.
  • Advise project and engineering teams and provide leadership to junior staff members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven cyber security experience across GRC, operations, and architecture.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Identity and Access Management, Endpoint Protection, Vulnerability Management, Security Information and Event Management, and Network Security tools.
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP or CISM preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and project teams.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
