About This Cyber Security Role
">Cyber Security Specialist is responsible for managing and improving customer's security governance, risk management, and compliance framework.
]This role ensures adherence to defense security regulatory requirements. It develops security policies meeting business objectives and conducts regular risk assessments.
The Cyber Security Specialist (GRC) identifies cyber security risks and implements security controls. Vulnerability management and threat detection are also key responsibilities.
Developing and maintaining Cyber Security Assessment and Authorization documentation suite is an essential part of this role.
Bachelor's degree in cyber security or information technology OR related experience is required. 5+ years' experience in Cyber security risk management/policy development/governance is also a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and frameworks as per regulatory requirements.
- Perform regular security audits.
- Identify cyber security risks and implement security controls.
- Vulnerability Management and Threat Detection.
- Security Event log monitoring.
- Develop and maintain Cyber Security Assessment and Authorization documentation suite.
- Assess security control effectiveness.

Requirements:
- Eligibility for SECRET (NV1) level Defense security clearance.
- Already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
