Parish HR Partner

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join our team as the Parish HR Partner.

  1. The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational HR support to parish leadership teams, working closely with regional bishops to ensure sound workplace practices are understood and followed in our parishes.
  2. Develop a deep understanding of our ordained and lay workers within the Sydney Anglican parish context.
  3. Develop and drive strategic HR initiatives to foster healthy and strong workplace relationships in parishes.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Extensive HR experience, preferably in a not-for-profit or faith-based organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience in influencing stakeholders and building relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the structure and operations of the Sydney Anglican Diocese (an advantage).
