Electrical Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced electrical installation specialist to join our team for large-scale projects nationwide.

About the Role:

  • Install, test and commission electrical systems, equipment and fixtures.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults using appropriate test equipment.
  • Connect systems to circuit breakers, transformers and control equipment.
  • Inspect electrical installations for compliance with codes and standards.
  • Advising on potential hazards or system issues.
  • Perform continuity and insulation resistance testing.
  • Ensure all documentation is updated and submitted to the site supervisor.
  • Participate in quality assurance processes (ITPs, ITRs).
  • Engage in the development and implementation of Safe Work Method Statements.

Requirements:

  • Current A-Class Electrical Licence (valid in your home state)
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • LV Rescue & Resuscitation Certificate (completed within the past 12 months)
  • Construction White Card
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and random drug & alcohol testing

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Leading Hand or Supervisory experience
  • Experience with industrial installations, cable systems (MV, LV, DC, Control, Fire, Comms)
  • Dual Trade, Instrumentation, MV Cable Jointing, or HVAC qualifications
  • Safe Working at Heights certification
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
  • Quality assurance and compliance testing experience
  • Familiarity with Australian Electrical Standards and regulations
