We are looking for a motivated Electrician to join our growing team in Muswellbrook. This full-time role reports to our Project Manager and would best suit a friendly, team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

We are looking for an Electrician who shares our values and commitment to excellence and work with a variety of electrical systems, including control systems, communications, CCTV/security, and general electrical installations within the mining, commercial and construction sectors. We will provide on-the-job training, certified training, a personalized technical development plans and a happy & supportive work environment.

This role offers 13 RDOs per year, travel allowances and opportunities for overtime - making it a great fit for someone looking for hands-on work with solid rewards and certified training opportunities.

Your new role

What will you do?

• Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of complex electrical systems, including running cable trays and conduits, terminating and testing cables, and ensuring switchboards, motors, and control systems are correctly installed and compliant with Australian Standards and project specifications.
• Troubleshooting and performing preventative and reactive maintenance, with a focus on minimising downtime and ensuring operational reliability. Diagnosing faults across a range of industrial equipment, such as PLCs, VSDs, instrumentation, and automation systems commonly found on Heavy Industrial sites.
• Maintaining detailed records of work performed, including service reports, equipment logs, and customer interactions; ensuring all work adheres to legislative requirements, company policies, and HSEQ standards.

About you

• Drivers' Licence (essential), NSW Electrical Licence (essential).
• Job-specific certifications/checks including cabling licence (preferred), White Card, National Police Check & Working with Children Check or willing to obtain upon commencement.
• Great communication and stakeholder management. A collaborative and reliable team player who promotes a safe, respectful, and supportive working environment.
• Ability to travel to regional/interstate (with notice) and work overtime when required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
