Job Role Overview

This is a challenging and varied position that will see you working on projects of all sizes, from smaller scale civil works to large-scale infrastructure projects.

You will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of these projects, which may include access roads, demolition, excavation, retention, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation, recycling, crushing, piling, foundations etc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning and scheduling of construction activities
  • Management of site project teams safely
  • Quality Assurance, Cost and Time Management
  • Preparation of management reports
  • Resolving site issues in a timely manner
  • Liaising with key clients and stakeholders

Additionally, this role involves coordinating internal and external resources effectively. A strong background in civil engineering and experience managing projects of varying complexity are required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
  • 5 – 15+ years' management experience on civil construction projects
  • Project management qualifications advantageous
  • Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach
  • Effective problem solving abilities
  • Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations
  • High level of organisation and time management skills
