Job Title: Agronomy Sales Specialist

Job Description:

  • A highly rewarding opportunity exists for an experienced Agronomy Sales Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the focus of your role will be to provide expert product knowledge on broadacre, sugarcane and pasture agronomy for existing clients in Grafton and surrounding areas.
  • You will consult with farmers and producers in the region, offering technical support and guidance on product sales both in-store and on-farm.
  • Building strong client relationships is key to this role. You will develop a deep understanding of clients' business goals and share relevant information to help them improve farming enterprise performance and sustainability.
  • Maintaining relationships with existing customers and targeting new clients through superior sales and agronomic input will be essential in achieving success.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related field is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in understanding the sales process and strong sales activity and call cycle management are required.
  • Sound customer service, organisational, administrative and computing skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
