Job Summary

Tesla is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing stationary battery equipment and Tesla charging infrastructures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment as defined by the service engineering team.
  • Travel extensively to cover multiple locations, performing electro-mechanical debugging, rework, and repair.
  • Operate hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and measurement devices to ensure efficient troubleshooting and repair.
  • Develop and follow maintenance procedures for Tesla Energy equipment, maintaining optimal system performance.
  • Communicate effectively within the Tesla Energy service organization, ensuring seamless coordination and support.
  • Support sites outside your region and country as needed, demonstrating adaptability and a strong work ethic.
  • Ensure Powerwall and Supercharger sites remain operational, upholding Tesla's commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Requirements
  • Certified Electrician (Electrical License Level 4) with current registration.
  • At least 3 years' electrical experience in the Commercial, Industrial, or Utility sector (Solar/Wind preferred).
  • Up-to-date electrical license and police check.
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings, demonstrating analytical skills.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to work remotely, using software applications to manage tasks and communicate with the team.
  • Reliable, proactive, and committed to quality, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
  • Willingness to work outdoors and travel, adapting to changing environments and priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to lift 20-25kg, ensuring safe and efficient job execution.
