Plant Operations Leader

The Process Plant Maintenance Manager plays a pivotal role in the management and coordination of maintenance and critical project activities to ensure optimal availability at the lowest cost, while adhering to safety, legislative and operational requirements and objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:- Strategically manage equipment to optimize performance
- Implement planned maintenance systems to align with operational best practices and regulatory standards
- Coordinate major equipment shutdowns with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely resource allocation
- Verify that all safety aspects of work performed within the department are managed to minimize risks and eliminate the risk of accidents and injuries
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering or a related field
- Master of Business Administration would be an advantage
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in the mining industry, including a minimum of 2 years as a field engineer, 3 years of experience in engineering management
Required skills include analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, time management skills, proven leadership and people management skills, and excellent command of English and exceptional intercultural communication skills. Experience in Africa is an advantage.
