Job Title: Field Operations Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Field Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, testing, repairing and maintaining mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment used for downhole and surface monitoring.

You will perform field-based tests, quality checks, and record results using specialized software to ensure accurate data acquisition. Additionally, you will carry out preventive maintenance, cleaning, and commissioning of equipment in the workshop to ensure operational readiness.

The ideal candidate will have experience in oilfield operations and/or instrumentation, and possess strong practical problem-solving skills. They will also have a strong focus on safety and quality standards, and be able to work within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and interpret drawings, plans and technical diagrams to support correct installation and operation of monitoring equipment.
  • Install, test, repair and maintain mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment used for downhole and surface monitoring.
  • Perform field-based tests, quality checks, and record results using specialized software to ensure accurate data acquisition.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance, cleaning, and commissioning of equipment in the workshop to ensure operational readiness.
  • Execute rig-up and rig-down activities during field operations, ensuring equipment is safely deployed and retrieved.

Qualifications and Qualities:

  • Experienced in oilfield operations and/or instrumentation.
  • Mechanically minded with strong practical problem-solving skills.
  • Able to operate and maintain field equipment and data systems.
  • Strong focus on safety and quality standards.
  • Positive in attitude and able to work within a team.
