Heat Exchangers Technical Support Role for LATAM

We're seeking a talented professional to join our team as a Heat Exchangers Technical Support Specialist for LATAM. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales companies and channel partners in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to sales engineers in designing and preparing information for quotations.
  • Transfer technical knowledge by acting as a trainer for our channels and clients on Alfa Laval products, including the design and facilitation of training in English, Spanish, or Portuguese.
  • Work in conjunction with the marketing area to define marketing campaigns, conferences, fairs, and other initiatives.
  • Offer key technical support to customers in meetings and interactions, focusing on customized product presentations and valuable propositions.
  • Establish a visible presence as a technical expert, both virtually and in-person, to solve complex technical issues and discuss our products and applications within the industry.
  • Promote the Alfa Laval brand among customers.
  • Act as a product champion in product launch campaigns and/or product and application competencies coach within the company.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position with a strong network within the industry and technical expertise on products and applications regarding heat transfer.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.
  • Experience in managing CRM systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
  • Experience in B2B and B2C networking development, channel distribution management, and availability to travel 50-70% of the time.
