Renewable Energy Project Delivery Expertise

We seek an accomplished leader to spearhead the implementation of complex renewable energy projects.

This role entails comprehensive project management, encompassing project scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, contract negotiation, and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a strong safety culture by setting QHSE behaviors and leading by example.
  • Direct and manage project delivery from contract award to operations, serving as the single point of contact for stakeholders.
  • Develop project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Manage contracts for project delivery, monitoring contractor performance using best-in-class project control methods.
  • Proactively address changes in project implementation scope, identify potential issues, and devise mitigation or contingency plans.
  • Effectively handover projects upon completion, ensuring relevant information is available and communicated to Operations.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and create recommendations to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Lead and coach project managers to take ownership of their tasks and drive positive outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in major project program and project management, including delivery methodology, implementation, project controls, and reporting processes.
  • Leadership experience in major projects or portfolio management, navigating complexities and inspiring teams to success.
  • Superior communication skills and exceptional stakeholder relations management skills, with the ability to engage effectively and maintain a positive demeanor.
  • Degree and above in Project Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in renewable energy project development, including solar, BESS, wind, and other technologies.
  • Ability to create power purchase agreements (PPAs), perform financial modeling, and conduct due diligence for new projects.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, permitting processes, and environmental considerations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong people leadership skills.
