Procurement Manager

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in a critical role that spans end-to-end category management and sourcing for packaging materials.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead procurement for the Australian business, developing strategic initiatives for packaging materials.
  • Negotiate agreements with suppliers, fostering strong relationships for optimal performance and collaboration.
  • Gather market intelligence on commodity trends, informing accurate budgets and forecasting models for risk mitigation.
  • Implement strategies aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs) related to savings, supply assurance, sustainability, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing team to address escalated inquiries and enhance overall procurement processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A commercially minded professional with 3-5 years of direct packaging experience within FMCG or manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for managing relationships with local and regional teams, as well as key functional leads.
  • A desire to contribute meaningfully to the organization and the broader community, aligning procurement strategies with sustainability and growth objectives.
