We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in the Podiatry Clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately document patient care in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Assist with in-clinic procedures, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction and safety.
- Timely follow up on patient messages and lab results, maintaining effective communication throughout the patient journey.
- Demonstrated knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
- Prior experience in customer service and healthcare settings is preferred.
- Epic system experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Achievement of Medical Assistant certification within 12 months of hire is expected.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is necessary.
