We are seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to join our team at Peaks Restaurant.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, where you will be responsible for food preparation, following recipes and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. You will have the chance to develop new skills and techniques, working with a talented team of chefs and hospitality professionals.

To succeed in this role, you will need previous experience in a similar position, knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures and food safety standards. You should also have strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation.

As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will be expected to work efficiently in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our restaurant. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare high-quality dishes to exacting standards, using fresh ingredients and innovative techniques.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to all health, safety and food hygiene regulations.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other chefs and kitchen staff to achieve seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in a similar culinary role.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
