About the Position:
  • Create nourishing meals that delight children with large appetites, while influencing nutritional outcomes.
  • Prepare healthy, delicious food that fuels young minds and bodies.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Ensuring child safety by preparing meals that cater for special dietary requirements and allergies.
  • Utilising creativity and organisational skills to design menus and procure food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting.
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check.
