Childcare Coordinator Job Description">

This role requires a dedicated and passionate individual who is committed to providing high-quality care for young children.

The Childcare Coordinator will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating environment that caters to the interests and abilities of the children in their care. They will also implement National Quality Framework practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a safe and caring environment for children
  • Implementing National Quality Framework practices
  • Contributing to the development of programs under supervision

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Degree in Education, Diploma of Education and Care or a Certificate 3 in Education and Care and studying towards a Diploma in Education and Care
  • Well-developed skills for working both as part of a team and under supervision and direction;
  • An interest and commitment to working with young children;
  • Administrative and organisational skills.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence to complete tasks independently, intuitively and flexibly
  • A team player that can develop good working relationships with students, parents, staff and the community
