Legal Expert for Renewable Energy Projects

We are seeking a seasoned Legal Expert to join our team and contribute to the success of our renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction and infrastructure law, with experience in drafting and negotiating complex contracts.
Key Responsibilities:- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts including EPC, O&M, development agreements, energy, green rights sales, and complex construction contracts.
- Providing legal advice on matters such as land acquisition, FIRB compliance, and M&A activity.
- Working closely with external law firms to obtain legal advice and support when required.
- Managing legal risks and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- 4-7 years PQE (Post Qualification Experience)
- Legally qualified and current practicing certificate.
- Top-tier/mid-tier law firm experience with relevant construction or infrastructure experience.
- Ability to understand commercial objectives and implement legal strategies to facilitate achievement of commercial objectives.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- A strong understanding of construction and operations contracts, land acquisition, FIRB compliance, and M&A activity.
