The successful candidate will provide exceptional administrative support and reception services to academic units across sciences and engineering. Primary Responsibilities:- Deliver a wide range of administrative duties, including communications, finance, purchasing, people management, travel arrangements, and facilities management.
- Stay updated on current policies and procedures to offer proactive, accurate solutions and focused advice.
- Provide responsive and customer-focused service using data from approved university systems/surveys/reporting.
- Support internal communications and events as required, interacting with students, their supporters, and members of the public to professionally represent the institution.
- Contribute to developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures through proficient use of university systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Demonstrated administrative skills, including experience with various applications, such as email, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and capacity to act independently within established guidelines.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service and contributing to continuous improvement of systems, processes, and procedures.
- Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise and complete tasks within defined deadlines.
- Effective interpersonal, resilience, communication, and influencing skills with a positive can-do attitude enhancing ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
