Job Role

Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled technical support specialist to provide platform and equipment specific support to our sustainment team. The successful candidate will undertake preventative and corrective maintenance activities on electronic and electrical equipment, including fault finding and repair at component level.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide maintenance and repair services for electronic and electrical equipment.
  • Fault find and repair equipment at component level.
  • Support the sustainment team with equipment related queries and issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Certification and Experience

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a Certificate III in Electronics and Communications Engineering or a related discipline. Industry experience in a similar engineering environment is also essential, supporting medium subsystems or group of smaller subsystems and/or equipment.

Adequate technical experience in one or more of the following domains is also required: C4I, Combat Management Systems, Command Support Systems.
