Electronics Maintenance Specialist

This role involves performing hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting on complex radar and air traffic control systems.

  • Hands-on preventative and corrective maintenance on advanced electronic systems.
  • Supervise junior technicians, ensuring tasks are completed to the highest standard and all defence-grade standards are maintained.
  • Real-time analysis of faults in high-tech systems, with the ability to drive solutions effectively.
  • Contribution to the integration and validation of electronic equipment, ensuring seamless performance.
  • Management of system configuration, fault trend analysis, and maintenance record accuracy.
Requirements
  • Certificate III/IV in Electronics or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in a relevant technical field is essential.
  • Proven experience with complex electronic systems is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience working with radar and/or air traffic control systems is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment, adhering to defence-aligned protocols.
  • Eligibility for Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance.
  • Eligibility to be cleared under International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations.
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
