In this role, you'll assist with quantity takeoffs, create construction plan sets using MicroStation OpenRoads Designer (ORD), prepare design documentation, and develop construction cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Assist with the design and layout of roadway alignments, both horizontal and vertical, for real-world transportation projects.
  2. Get involved in key aspects of roadway design, including geometry, drainage, signage, pavement markings, and maintenance of traffic.
  3. Help develop construction plan sets, gaining experience in how projects are prepared for bidding and construction.
  4. Perform quantity calculations to support bid plan development and construction cost estimates.
  5. Explore additional areas like pavement analysis, design, and utility coordination for a well-rounded experience.
Responsibilities

Design and Layout Expertise

  • Collaborate on the design and layout of roadway alignments, considering factors such as safety and efficiency.
