Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bid Manager to join our team. As a key member of our bid team, you will be responsible for writing high-quality plans, methodologies, and narratives for tenders using supplied templates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough research to understand client requirements, scope of work, and other relevant information to develop effective tender submissions.
  • Write, edit, and proofread bid responses, proposals, management plans, and supporting documentation to ensure clarity and concision.
  • Craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate our value proposition and unique selling points to clients.
  • Manage multiple bids simultaneously, adhering to strict deadlines and prioritizing workload effectively.
  • Collaborate with the bid team to develop and refine bid processes, templates, and best practices.
  • Participate in kick-off meetings, review meetings, and debrief sessions to gather feedback and improve future bids.
Requirements
  • Technical expertise with the ability to interpret drawings and understand construction concepts.
  • Excellent reading, comprehension, and writing skills in clear and concise manner, tailoring style and language to appropriate internal or external audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software suite.
  • Able to operate across hybrid teams (virtual and face-to-face, remote, regional, and metro).
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving skills, with ability to self-organise to deliver on strict timelines.
  • An openness to adjust ways of working to achieve business objectives.
  • Verbal communication skills with ability to develop effective internal stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience in editing, formatting, clarifying, and proofreading documents across the business, and coaching skills to influence improvement of writing skills.
