Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high performing team of Design Documenters and Estimators. You will work in close partnership with existing colleagues to provide strong leadership and management ensuring project planning and delivery in line with business objectives.

  • Lead and oversee the daily functions of a National Design team, managing resource allocation and reviewing documentation to ensure technical accuracy and project delivery in line with business objectives.
  • Actively manage resources and provide guidance and industry experience in developing market segments.
  • Work closely with internal estimating and steel teams and internal stakeholders across the project lifecycle to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Liaise with sales department to implement strategies as per business objectives
  • Review documentation to ensure it is of high quality and is compliant with established design standards.
Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have 10 years plus experience in the design construction environment and a strong working knowledge of design software programs. They will be able to effectively manage relationships, both internal and external, and have excellent time management skills.

A strong understanding of trade capabilities within the construction industry is essential. The role requires proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and the ability to turn information into usable data and documents.

  • Demonstrate a minimum 5 years' experience in a management or leadership position.
  • Holds registration as an Architect.
  • Ability to travel interstate where required.
