Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic leader to oversee the daily operations of a centre, ensuring smooth and efficient centre management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff rosters, enrolment processes, marketing initiatives, centre events, and internal communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day administrative functions of the centre.
  • Family and Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with children, families, and the community to build trust and engagement.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks.
  • Child Safety Commitment: Demonstrate a strong understanding of Child Safe Standards and maintain a child-safe environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Teaching/Education (Early Childhood) or Diploma of Children's Services
  • 3-5 years of management/leadership experience
  • Sound knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and Children Service Regulations
  • Nominated/Certified Supervisor Certificate
  • Current Working with Children's Check or VIT Registered, First Aid Certificate/Asthma & Anaphylaxis
  • A strong understanding of the Child Safe Standards and a demonstrated commitment to child safety
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong ability to inspire and motivate a positive culture
