Job Title: Occupational Therapist Senior

A career opportunity exists for an experienced occupational therapist to work within the emergency department on a 7-day roster.

This position requires senior level generalist OT skills with senior skills in one or more clinical areas of OT, including hand therapy, trauma/minor head injury, acute orthopaedic, and/or geriatric areas of practice.

As a highly functioning multidisciplinary team member, deliver high-level occupational therapy clinical services and leadership across specific work units.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver independent high-level occupational therapy clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.
  • Provide high-level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction.
  • Take a leadership role in monitoring professional clinical standards and outcomes.
