Job Overview

The Disability Support Worker plays a crucial role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and live independently. This position requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support services to clients with disabilities
  • Assist clients with daily activities, such as personal care and domestic tasks
  • Support clients in participating in community programs and events
  • Monitor client progress and maintain accurate records
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Level II First Aid and CPR certification
  • NDIS Worker Screening check
  • Current WWCC/Blue Card or willingness to obtain
  • Current Australian Driver's License
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification (preferable)

Additional Information

This is a casual position, offering 25 hours of work per week. The salary range is $35-$65 per hour. A Christmas bonus and overtime pay are also offered.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support services to clients with disabilities. You will work closely with colleagues and management to ensure that clients receive the best possible care and support.
