Job Title: Research Coordinator Specialist
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Research Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering clinical research activities through direct and indirect care and data collection for clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and deliver clinical research activities in compliance with regulatory frameworks and study protocols.
- Work closely with Principal Investigators, Co-investigators, and the research team to ensure timely start-up and smooth running of allocated trials on site.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders including your team, research leads, centre staff, and sponsors.
- Attend trial assessments and treatments with patients within your competency; perform clinical tasks (vital signs, ECGs, venepuncture, medication management) and maintain data-entry proficiency in a timely manner.
- Process samples, coordinate sample collection and dispatch as required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory, administrative, and clinical frameworks relevant to research; ensure compliance with SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), study protocols, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Current registration with relevant professional association.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in clinical research coordination (nursing, science or Phase 1 research, Oncology or nuclear medicine) with an equivalent undergraduate degree.
- Strong computer literacy with knowledge of clinical trials software and MS Office suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High initiative, flexibility, and the ability to meet deadlines while balancing multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and applicable national and international laws and regulations.
