About the Role

We are seeking an experienced International Sales Manager to join our team at Pinnacle. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with key customers in Europe, the Middle East, New Zealand, and APAC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and profitability in allocated markets.
  • Manage customer relationships and interactions to ensure long-term growth and loyalty.
  • Lead new business development opportunities and maintain existing customer accounts.
  • Develop and deliver customer business plans based on distribution, sales, and profit growth.
  • Manage all aspects of the external sales process, including introducing, presenting, and selling appropriate brands and pricing strategies.
  • Oversee promotional spend, marketing investment, and rebates, as well as manage debtors and accounts receivable.
  • Ensure appropriate distribution and supply contracts are in place for customer portfolios.
  • Be regarded as an expert on markets, channels, and customers.
  • Manage the annual planning and budget process for customers.
  • Provide monthly forecasting at customer brand and SKU level.
  • Support internal customer needs, including setting up to trade and managing product specification data.
  • Ensure price file, allocation, and rebate data accuracy in systems for customers.
  • Support the Product Development pipeline for customers.
  • Collaborate with marketing and brand teams to deliver in-market programs within brand guidelines.
Requirements
  • Experience living and/or working in overseas markets/cultures.
  • 2-3 years of international wine industry experience.
  • Understanding of the global wine consumer landscape and market trends.
  • Experience with CRM/sales reporting systems.
  • Understanding of the distribution value chain and market retail price structures.
  • WSET entry wine qualifications.
  • Supply chain and wine forecasting experience, desirable.
  • Experience negotiating and executing standard brand distribution contracts, desirable.
