Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice – Parks and Open Space Maintenance to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our parks and open spaces.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working outdoors and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. You will be provided with ongoing support and training to enhance your skills and develop your career in Open Space maintenance and Horticulture.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance, installation, and repair of parks, sports facilities, landscape features, and community facilities
  • Mowing, detailing, litter removal, weed control, garden bed renovation, irrigation maintenance, machinery use, and maintenance
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Victorian Driver Licence
  • Able to undertake TAFE training
  • A passion for working outside
  • A strong reliable work ethic
  • Excellent communications skills
