Apprentice – Parks and Open Space Maintenance - Bayside Moorabbin Depot Location 6am to 2.36pm Working in our Open Space Team you will have the opportunity to work on a large variety of landscaping projects within the Bayside suburbs of Melbourne. This role includes many aspects of soft and hard scaping including mowing gardens, weeding, mulching, garden bed renovations pruning, planting, laying turf and much more. The successful candidate will be provided with ongoing support and training to enhance their skills and develop their career. Primary responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Maintenance, installation and repair of parks, sports facilities, landscape features and community facilities Mowing detailing, litter removal, weed control, garden bed renovation, irrigation maintenance, machinery use and maintenance Ensure work is carried out in a safe and professional manner at all times and all vehicles and worksite are maintained to a high standard Mandatory Skills: Victorian Driver Licence Able to undertake TAFE training A passion for working outside Strong reliable work ethic Excellent communications skills Desirable Skills and Qualifications: Chemical Certificate Police and Employment VIC Working with Children Check What can you expect when you work with Citywide?
