About our Fire Services Team

Our Fire Services Department delivers fire prevention, readiness and response services to fire in built and natural environments. We also provide scientific and specialist capabilities to local communities.

We cover emergency response, including road crash rescue, bushfire, hazardous material, technical and vertical rescue, severe weather incidents, remote and swiftwater rescue for the public.

Purpose of this Role

This role involves supporting the ongoing delivery of business capability modelling and strategic investment planning to enhance capability maturity. This is achieved by providing support to capability owners and service leads to ensure effective review of their capability and that investments improve departmental capabilities.

Key Accountabilities

You will manage a small team to support successful management and delivery of portfolio management office activities which support strategic programs, projects and other initiatives as needed.
