Lubrication Technician Role

The Lubrication Technician is a vital member of the maintenance team, ensuring the prescribed lubrication program is executed with quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the site's prescribed lubrication program with precision and reliability.
  • Measure and document plant data as an integral part of executing the lubrication program.
  • Contribute to continually improving the lubrication program across the site by providing input and support.
  • Identify, facilitate, and complete improvement projects related to best practice hydrocarbon management.
  • Perform lubrication monitoring maintenance tasks to minimize business risk, increase equipment reliability, and reduce operating costs.
  • Commit to safe operation and maintenance initiatives.
  • Ensure permits to work, risk assessments, and job safety analysis are conducted for all work undertaken.
  • Participate in plant maintenance and assist day work/shift trades and production operators as required.

Essential Criteria:

  • Work effectively as a team member.
  • Possess the desire and capability to undertake further training as required.
  • Adhere to safe working practices and prioritize the safety of others.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Provide regular and accurate feedback to the Engineering Team.

Desirable Skills:

  • Mechanical trade or common user competencies skills, such as fitting skills.
  • Good knowledge of plant and machinery.
  • Overhead crane ticket.
  • Forklift HRW license.
  • Dogger HRW license.
