HumeLink is a major electricity transmission project that will connect Wagga Wagga, Maragle and Bannaby in regional NSW, increasing the capacity of the electricity network in Australia's eastern states. This significant infrastructure project involves approximately 365kms of proposed new transmission lines and various other new and upgraded infrastructure.

The HumeLink West project includes delivering new 500KV double circuit transmission lines spanning ~143 kms from Wagga Wagga Substation to a new Substation at Gugaa, the Interface Point with HumeLink East near Gundagai and a new substation at Maragle in the Snowy Mountains for future connection to Snowy 2.0.

Job Overview

We are seeking Labourers to join the HumeLink West project team in Wagga Wagga and the Riverina Region. The roles available are in the Civil, Substations and Logistics teams.

  • Experience in a similar environment
  • Knowledge and experience in construction, transmission or Oil and Gas
  • Commitment to promoting safety, quality, and environment compliance on site
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
Requirements

To be successful in this role you will require:

  • Construction White Card - required
  • Driver's licence (HR Licence)
  • Work Safely at Heights - desirable
  • High Risk Work Licence - WP (Work Platform) - desirable
  • Heavy industry experience - desirable
  • Excavator ticket / Skid Steer Ticket Trade Qualification - desirable

The successful candidate will hold a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment prior to commencement.

Where applicable, evidence of tertiary qualifications and proof of right to work will be required prior to successful appointment.
