About this Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to work as a Child Neuropsychiatry Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for triaging referrals, planning and coordinating admissions in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager and Consultant Psychiatrist.

Scheduling and coordinating assessments required with the family and referrer to verify goals of admission and expected outcomes is also a key responsibility. Additionally, supporting the child and family to understand and manage admissions, including liaising with social work to ensure family supports are available.

Collaborating with families to ensure goals of admission are met, collaborative treatment planning and decision-making is implemented, and treatment reflects the family's needs and organisation.

To succeed in this position, you must possess excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
