
Insurance Claims Administrator

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Claims Specialist to join our high-performing team at our Welshpool office.
This role involves providing administrative support, acting as a referral point for Motor Assessors and Managers, ensuring consistent delivery of insurance claims services to members. Success in this role relies on effective communication over the phone and accurate data entry into our systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver exceptional service to members, third parties, and service providers regarding claims inquiries and lodgements via multiple channels
- Manage assigned caseload in line with best practice procedures
- Handle motor vehicle salvage operations, including selling cleared vehicles through authorized channels
- Coordinate the release of salvage vehicles for auction and manage total loss disposals
- Explain the total loss process and processing timeframes to members to set expectations
- Provide accurate correspondence on total loss claims
- Support single vehicle claims and serve as a contact point for external assessors and repairers
- Assist with motor claims settlement follow-up, reviewing assessment reports and case notes for prompt resolution
- A willingness to learn; training will be provided on all technical aspects, no prior insurance experience necessary
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail
- Experience in conflict resolution and negotiation
