Claims Coordinator Role

As a Claims Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of property insurance claims from initial contact to completion.

You will collaborate closely with clients, internal staff members, and customers to ensure seamless communication and timely resolution of claims. A background in building or construction is highly desirable, although not essential if you possess the right attitude and work ethic.

The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional organizational and time management skills, as well as superior customer service skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

The role involves maintaining accurate records, liaising with insurance companies and loss adjusters, and processing new claims while meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining high levels of communication with stakeholders
  • Liaising with policyholders on key decisions relating to their projects
  • Assisting with daily telephone calls, emails, and administrative tasks
  • Processing new claims, arranging estimators, and submitting quotes while adhering to KPIs
  • Monitoring incoming and outgoing correspondence
