We have a challenging project management role available where you will lead the end-to-end delivery of renewal store developments across the Coles Group portfolio. This is a diverse role where you will be empowered to manage the entire project lifecycle, from resource allocation and project planning to governance, quality control, cost management, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the coordination of the critical path of the project life cycle.
- Coordinate inputs of internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.
- Ensure activities are scheduled to minimize disruption to customers and store teams.
- Lead your project team to the end goal in a customer-friendly manner.
- Oversee cost plans, design documentation, and tendering.
- Drive improvements around project parameters such as time, cost, and quality.
You will be working closely with the State Construction Manager - WA, SA & NT, and will have a strong focus on delivering projects within budget and on time.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and influencing skills, and will be collaborative, proactive, and comfortable being autonomous. You will also have a degree qualification in construction management, building, or architecture, and experience working on medium to large-scale retail or commercial projects.
Requirements:
- Experience managing contractors, consultants, site supervisors, and suppliers.
- A working knowledge and understanding of Australian Standards and how they are applied.
- Sound financial acumen and cost management skills.
- Strong organizational and planning ability.
