Job Title: Event Coordinator

Our organization seeks an experienced and skilled event coordinator to lead a team of professionals in delivering exceptional service to our guests.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of large events, ensuring that every detail is meticulously executed and that all guests receive top-notch service.

Duties:

- Supervise event staff to ensure immediate, effective, and efficient service delivery to customers

- Communicate and delegate tasks to team members effectively

- Manage guest queries in a timely and professional manner

- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, treating everyone with fairness and respect

- Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly

- Ensure customer satisfaction with service and food quality

- Complete pre-event and post-event duties efficiently

Requirements:

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

- Proven experience in event coordination or management

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent leadership and teamwork abilities

- A valid RSA certification

- Police check or willingness to obtain one

- Self-motivated individual with a passion for delivering high-quality results

You should also have at least two years' experience in a similar role.
