About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Clients and Markets team at Clayton Utz as a Business Development Coordinator. In this role, you will work closely with other clients and markets managers and advisers to develop and implement a range of practice group focused client and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Business Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the relevant practice managers to identify, pursue and convert opportunities
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and manage client relationships
  • Assisting with market analysis and related research
  • Supporting the management of tenders and bid opportunities
  • Developing a profile and credibility with internal clients

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 1-2+ years of experience in a similar role in business development or related experience
  • Tertiary qualification in a business-related discipline, marketing, communications or law
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships across all levels
  • Technical skills in Microsoft Office and a sound understanding of databases
