
HR Benefits Coordinator

Job Description:
">- Manage employee benefits, claims handling, eligibility questions, leave requests, and FSA funding. Lead benefit orientations, claims processing, billing of insurance, reports to vendors, and payroll interface systems for benefits deductions.
- Set up carrier connections, new hires in benefits/payroll systems, and maintain changes and updates. Point person for vendors, oversee vendor RFPs, and ensure compliance with plan documents.
- Maintain regional benefit resources, conduct benefit benchmarking, and educate employees on benefits through seminars and country websites.
- Conduct internal system audits, assist with Wellness initiatives, manage US EOI submissions, and update vendors for enrollment.
- Evaluate and revise Plan documents, summary plan descriptions, and other benefits guides. Partner with payroll to ensure 401k/RRSP uploads and timely accuracy.
- Ensure compliance of federal, state, and provincial leave laws, Orion policies, and ADA/AODA requests. Manage interactive process, educate management team, and lead annual audits and filings.
- Assist with policy review, job description development, and improving HR processes. Maintain regional intranet, oversee employee position transfers, and adjust documentation, payroll, and HRIS accordingly.
