Job Title

Our organization is seeking a Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for all staff, patients, and visitors on site.

Duties:

  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service for all persons entering facilities
  • Conduct regular patrols on sites - foot patrols, inspections, screening and static guarding
  • Respond to fire/security alarms, anti-social behaviour and monitor CCTV
  • Provide basic crowd control and compile security audit reports
  • Emergency response and incident reporting
  • Program Site access cards and observe escalations

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Flexibility with regards to shift patterns and availability
  • A current vehicle licence and Level 3 security licence
  • Reliable with an excellent work ethic and previous experience in a hospital setting would be an advantage
