Job Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated individual to fill the role of Security Officer at Footscray Hospital.

About the Role

  • Maintain real-time oversight of hospital activity through monitoring CCTV, alarms, and electronic systems.
  • Coordinate with security staff and emergency teams during incidents, providing clear and timely direction.
  • Keep accurate records of security events, system checks, and daily activities.
  • Support emergency response by providing fast, reliable information and coordination.

The Requirements

  • Certificate II Security Operations (CPP20218) or higher qualification is required.
  • Confident use of CCTV and security control room systems is essential.
  • Strong situational awareness, calm under pressure, and fast decision-making skills are necessary.
  • Clear, assertive communication and ability to follow security procedures are critical.
