To find out more visit our website at.MSS Security is seeking full-time and casual Security Officers to work across multiple areas of a hospital, including patrols, the control room, and high-risk wards. These roles operate on a 24/7 rotating roster, requiring availability across all shifts.Key Responsibilities:Patrol and monitor hospital premises to detect and respond to any security risks.Monitor security systems and respond to incidents and emergencies promptly.Manage access control and identification verification for all hospital areas.Collaborate with medical staff and law enforcement when necessary.Assist in resolving patient or visitor disputes in a calm and professional manner.Provide excellent customer service to staff, patients, and visitors.Requirements:Full Australian Working Rights.Victorian Security License (Control Room Endorsement is advantageous).Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher).First Aid & CPRWorking with Children's Check or willingness to obtain.Availability to work a 24*7 rotating roster.Evidence of three COVID-19 vaccinations (highly regarded).Proof of Hepatitis B serology showing immunity (>10 mIU/mL).Proof of Varicella (Chickenpox) vaccination or serology showing immunity.Evidence of two doses of Measles vaccine or serology showing immunity.Pertussis (Whooping Cough) booster within the last 10 years (vaccination required, not serology).How to applyMSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing the unique backgrounds, experiences, and contributions of each person We encourage and celebrate diversity.We are proud to:be certified by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency,be a partner and supporter of Veterans employment and honoured to have an endorsed INNOVATE Reconciliation Action Plan.Click APPLY to complete your application and you will be prompted to answer a few simple questions and upload your CV.Thanks for taking the time to consider MSS as a future employer and we look forward to hearing from you.
