Job Title: Health Safety Environment and Quality Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our HSEQ initiatives. This role offers opportunities for career growth, collaboration, and strategic partnerships.

This position is responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining project-based WHS documentation as required.
  • Delivering company inductions and maintaining records.
  • Facilitating consultation, communication, and training on company policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining contractor management procedures and records.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry bodies and customer programmes.
  • Performing Return to Work Coordinator duties for employees.
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing SOPs, SWMSs, policies, procedures, and supporting systems.
  • Reviewing and reporting on OH&S matters on site.
  • Working with other managers to coordinate and plan ongoing OH&S requirements.
  • Reviewing sub-contractor SWMS.
  • Conducting on-site safety audits.
  • Quality control and rectification.
  • Participating in WHS discussions during Toolbox Meetings.
  • Promoting a safe workplace through daily positive engagement with the workforce.
  • Effective administration and communication with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS/WH&S).
  • First Aid certificate or equivalent.
  • C-class driver's license.
  • Permanent rights to work in Australia.
  • Ability to travel to multiple job sites around NSW.
