Field Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our wind farms.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Interpreting technical requirements and completing assigned tasks in accordance with work instructions.
  2. Performing routine maintenance and fault finding of assets.
  3. Maintaining accurate reports using software management tools and databases.
  4. Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with safety policies and procedures.

You will be based at our Boco Rock Wind Farm Project, located in New South Wales, Australia. The 67 turbines have a combined generation capacity of 113 MW, supplying renewable power to thousands of homes across the state.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  1. A minimum qualification as a qualified electrician or mechanic with electrical aptitude.
  2. Proficiency in fault finding electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment.
  3. Intermediate-level computer skills and experience working at heights.
  4. A current Australian Driver's license and willingness to relocate.

Desirable characteristics for this role include:

  1. Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  2. Commitment to safety protocols and effective communication.
  3. Experience with HRWL, Dogging, Rigging, Forklift, EWP, GWO Advanced Rescue Training, and HV Switching Qualification/Experience.

As a global organization, you may be required to work across different time zones and respond to contact outside normal working hours.
