Vacancy for a Site Manager in New South Wales

The role is to oversee the operations and maintenance of wind farms, ensuring they meet key performance indicators regarding output, downtime, running costs, and safety/environmental responsibilities.

As a successful applicant, you will be responsible for managing site supervisors and coordinating selected wind farm sites. You will engage in technical problem-solving, maintain site budgets, promote operational efficiency, and manage customer accounts and service contracts.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure the operation and maintenance of wind turbine generators.
  • Manage team members who model Vestas values and produce high-level results against key performance indicators and operational goals.
  • Supervise and develop teams that achieve safety leadership, operational fluidity, and financial performance.
  • Select and retain team-members/leaders, identify and involve business stakeholders, and determine coverage for on-calls during work hours.

Requirements

  • Degree or trade in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in industries or technologies such as hydraulic, rotating heavy equipment service, and maintenance.
  • Good coordination skills, knowledge about contact management and maintaining budgets, quality consciousness in working methods, ability to stay professional in time-sensitive settings.
