Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development of wind energy projects involves conceptualizing, planning, and executing the construction of wind farms. This includes conducting site assessments to determine the feasibility of a project.
  • The role requires technical expertise in designing wind turbine layouts and ensuring the efficient operation of wind farms. Site visits are necessary to inspect the facilities and address any issues that may arise during operation.
  • Leadership skills are essential for coordinating technical workstreams and deliverables for projects. Strong communication skills are also necessary for maintaining relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in renewable energy assets development is required for this position. Demonstrated experience as a Wind Engineer with extensive experience in renewable energy assets development and construction is essential.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related technical disciplines are necessary for this role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of wind turbine technology and balance of plant requirements for wind farm projects is necessary for this position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for developing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
