Community Support Worker for Dementia Client

We are seeking an experienced support worker to assist a dementia client in Spotswood with community access.

The successful applicant will accompany the client to the gym for exercise programs and provide 1:1 ratio care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support and companionship to clients with dementia.
  • Follow and understand participants' care plans and goals.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and meal preparation.

Requirements:

  • Certification III in Disability or equivalent qualification.
  • At least two years of experience working in the disability sector.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Registration requirements include WWCC, National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, online orientation modules, and vaccinations.
